NTA Releases JEE Main 2026 Admit Card for January 28 & 29 Exams

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 admit cards for the examinations scheduled on January 28 and January 29, 2026. Candidates appearing in these sessions can now download their hall tickets from the official JEE Main portal.
Exam Schedule
January 28, 2026 – B.E./B.Tech (Paper-1)
• Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PMJanuary 29, 2026 – B.Arch and B.Planning (Paper-2)
• Typically conducted in one shift
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time. Entry will not be permitted after the gates close.

Enter your application number and password/date of birth
Download and print the admit card
What’s on the Admit Card
The admit card contains essential details including:
Candidate’s name and photograph
Roll number and application number
Exam date and shift
Exam centre name and address
Reporting time and important instructions
Candidates should carefully check all details on the admit card. If there are any errors in the name, photograph, exam date, or other information, they should contact NTA immediately for correction.
Instructions for Exam Day
Carry a printed copy of the admit card
Bring a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, etc.)
Electronic devices such as calculators, smartwatches, and Bluetooth devices are not allowed
Follow all safety and exam day protocols
Technical Issues Reported
As the admit cards were recently released, some candidates have reported temporary website access issues or errors due to high traffic on the official portal. NTA recommends that candidates try again after some time if they face difficulties while downloading.
About JEE Main 2026 Session-1
The first session of JEE Main 2026 is being conducted from January 21 to January 29 in multiple shifts at various test centres across India. The exam is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and serves as an eligibility test for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs and for qualifying for JEE Advanced.
