NTA Begins NEET UG 2026 Application Process for MBBS, BDS Admissions; Apply by March 8

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the NEET UG 2026 application process for admission to undergraduate medical and allied health science courses across the country. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NEET portal till March 8, 2026.
NEET UG 2026 is the single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS, BSc Nursing, and other undergraduate medical courses offered by government, private, and deemed universities in India.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for NEET UG 2026, candidates must:
Have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
Have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2026
Meet the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed for their category
Application Process
Candidates need to:
Register using a valid email ID and mobile number
Fill in personal, academic, and contact details
Upload scanned photographs, signature, and required documents
Pay the application fee online
Submit and download the confirmation page
Application Fee
The application fee varies by category and can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Exam Pattern
NEET UG 2026 will be conducted in pen-and-paper (offline) mode. The question paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, carrying a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer will be awarded four marks, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

All India Quota (AIQ) seats
State quota medical admissions
Admissions to private and deemed universities
Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) seats
