KEA Announces Special Stray Vacancy Round for Dental Admissions Under Karnataka NEET UG 2025
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced a special stray vacancy counselling round for NEET UG 2025 dental (BDS) seats, scheduled to be held on December 31, 2025. This round is being conducted to fill vacant dental seats that remain unallotted after the completion of earlier counselling rounds.
According to KEA, the special stray vacancy round will be conducted as per the NEET UG 2025 merit list and in accordance with the counselling guidelines issued by the authority. Only eligible and registered candidates who have not secured a seat in previous rounds will be considered for allotment during this special round.
KEA has advised candidates to carefully check the eligibility criteria, seat matrix, and detailed counselling schedule on the official website before participating. The authority has also clarified that once a seat is allotted in the stray vacancy round, candidates will be required to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time, failing which the seat may be forfeited.
The special stray vacancy round is limited to dental seats only, and no medical (MBBS) seats will be included in this round. KEA has emphasized that this round is being conducted to ensure maximum utilization of available seats and to provide deserving candidates with a final opportunity for admission.
