    JEE (Main) 2026 – Complete Registration Guidance

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JEE (Main) 2026 in two sessions:

    🔰 Before You Begin: Mandatory Document Updates

    NTA advises all aspirants to update the following documents before applying:

    1. Aadhaar Card (must reflect correct details)

    • Name as per Class 10 certificate

    • Correct Date of Birth

    • Recent updated photograph

    • Current address

    • Father’s name

    2. UDID Card (for PwD candidates)

    • Must be valid and updated

    • Must be renewed if required

    3. Category Certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL)

    • Must be valid

    • Must follow latest format

    • OBC-NCL must be from latest financial year


    Step-by-Step JEE Main 2026 Registration Process


    Step 1: New Registration

    Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in → Click “New Registration”

    Fill in:

    • Name

    • Father’s & Mother’s name

    • DOB

    • Gender

    • Mobile number

    • Email ID

    • Security question

    • Create password

    After submission →
    Application Number generated (Save it)


    Step 2: Fill Application Form

    • PwD status

    • Identity type

    B. Examination Details

    • Choose paper(s): B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Planning

    • Select 4 exam cities

    • Select language

    • Confirmation Page appears → download + print

    • Payment failed

    • Contact bank for refund

    • Make payment again

    Password Creation Guidelines

    Password must include:

    • 8–13 characters

    • 1 uppercase

    • 1 lowercase

    • 1 number

    • 1 special character (!@#$%^&*-)
