JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card Released; IIT Roorkee Exam Scheduled on May 17
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially released the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card for candidates appearing in the entrance examination for BTech, BS, and BArch admissions. Registered candidates can now download their hall tickets from the official JEE Advanced portal using their registration number, date of birth, and registered mobile number.
JEE Advanced 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in two shifts across examination centres in India. Paper 1 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM, while Paper 2 will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Appearing in both papers is mandatory for all candidates.
According to IIT Roorkee, the admit card contains important details including:
- Candidate’s name and roll number
- Exam date and shift timing
- Allotted examination centre address
- Category and PwD status
- Exam-day guidelines and instructions
Students are advised to carefully verify all information mentioned on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy, candidates should immediately contact the JEE Advanced authorities for correction.
Steps to Download JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card
- Visit the official JEE Advanced website
- Click on the admit card download link
- Enter registration number, date of birth, and mobile number
- Submit the details and log in
- Download and print the hall ticket for future use
Candidates must carry:
- A printed copy of the admit card
- A valid photo ID proof
- Any additional documents mentioned in the instructions
Without the admit card, entry to the examination hall will not be permitted.
IIT Roorkee has also announced that candidate response sheets will be released on May 21, while the provisional answer key will be published on May 25. Feedback and objections regarding the answer key can be submitted online within the specified window.
JEE Advanced is the gateway for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and several other premier engineering institutes across the country. This year’s examination is being conducted by IIT Roorkee.
