Ranchi: Jawahar Vidya Mandir (JVM), Shyamali, Ranchi has officially released the admission circular for LKG (Lower Kindergarten) for the academic session 2026–2027. The school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has announced that the online registration process will begin on December 15, 2025, through its official website www.jvmshyamali.com.

According to the notification, application forms will remain available online till January 10, 2026. No offline application forms will be accepted under any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to LKG, the child must be between 4 to 5 years of age as on April 1, 2026. The eligible date of birth range is between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022 (both dates inclusive).

Application Fee

The cost of the application form is ₹2000, which must be paid online only through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. Once the fee is paid, the application form will be generated online. The school has clearly stated that no application will be accepted without payment of the requisite fee.

Document Submission & Verification

Parents whose children apply online are required to submit a hard copy of the filled application form along with necessary documents at the school campus for verification. Admission will not be considered unless documents are verified, and parents must bring original documents at the time of verification.

The document submission and verification process will be conducted from December 16, 2025 to January 13, 2026, between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.

List of Required Documents

The school has specified a detailed list of documents, including:

• Self-attested photocopy of the birth certificate issued by a competent authority

• Proof of residence (Voter ID, Telephone bill, Landline/Postpaid Mobile bill, Passport, Ration Card, Electricity bill, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, LPG book, etc.)

• Proof if sibling is studying in JVM Shyamali

• Proof if parent is an alumnus/alumna of JVM Shyamali

• Proof of parent being in All India transferable Government Service (only if transferred after April 1, 2024)

• Proof of service in Army, Navy, Air Force, or Security Forces (if applicable)

• Single parent proof (if applicable)

• Caste certificate (only for ST/SC/OBC)

• Aadhaar card copies of the child, mother, and father

• Proof of grandparent working/worked in JVM/MECON/SAIL at Ranchi (with original certificate issued by MECLON/SAIL units)

• Photocopy of the child’s Half-yearly Report Card/Identity Card from the school last attended

• Original Transfer Certificate/Bonafide Certificate to be submitted at the time of admission

The school has clarified that admission will not be entertained without Transfer/Bonafide Certificate.

Admission Process

• A provisional selection list for interview will be published on the school website.

• All shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview according to the schedule.

• The admission process will continue till the session 2026–27 if seats remain vacant.

• Parents are allowed to fill only one registration form. Multiple entries will lead to rejection of the application.

• No online application form will be available after January 10, 2026.

The admission circular has been issued under the authority of the Principal, Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, and parents are advised to carefully read all instructions before applying.
