JVM Shyamali has announced the commencement of the online registration process for Class XI admissions (2026-27) for external candidates. Interested students can begin registering from 25th January 2026, with the last date for online registration set for 28th February 2026. The final date for payment of the application fee is 2nd March 2026.

Streams and Subjects Offered
The school offers admissions across four streams:

1. PCM (Science) – English Core, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, with optional subjects including Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Physical Education, Education, and Economics. Sixth subjects include Painting, Artificial Intelligence (AI), PHE, or Physical Activity Trainer.

2. PCB (Science) – English Core, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, with optional subjects like Mathematics, Physical Education, or Biotechnology, and sixth subjects similar to PCM.

3. Commerce – English Core, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, with optional subjects including Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Entrepreneurship. Sixth subjects include AI, Applied Maths, Informatics Practices, PHE, or Physical Activity Trainer.

4. Humanities (Arts) – English Core, History, Political Science, Economics, with optional subjects including Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Sociology. Sixth subjects include Informatics Practices, Physical Education, Painting, AI, or Physical Activity Trainer.

Admission Criteria

• Students appearing in Class X (any board) in 2026 are eligible for registration.

• Provisional admission will be based on performance in the Admission Test.

• Final admission will be confirmed after the declaration of Class X results and subject to fulfilling the cut-off marks for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

Cut-off Marks for Admission Test Qualification

• PCM / PCB: 164/200 in Mathematics & Science OR 410/500 in any five subjects of Class X.

• Commerce: 150/200 in Mathematics & Social Science OR 375/500 in any five subjects.

• Humanities: 150/200 in English & Social Science OR 375/500 in any five subjects.

Direct Admission for Meritorious Students
A limited number of seats are reserved for direct admission based on merit. Eligibility is determined according to Class X board results published by CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, or NIOS. Direct admission is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis via online registration.

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission

• PCM / PCB: 180/200 in Mathematics & Science OR 450/500 in any five subjects.

• Commerce: 170/200 in Mathematics & Social Science OR 425/500 in any five subjects.

• Humanities: 170/200 in English & Social Science OR 425/500 in any five subjects.

• JVM Students: Current JVM students are exempted from the aptitude test. Admission will follow the minimum eligibility criteria for each stream, which will be notified on the school website.

Registration Fee
The non-refundable registration fee is Rs. 2000, payable online through the school’s application portal.

Offline Admission Test Dates

• CBSE Students: 12th March 2026

• ICSE / State Boards & Defaulters: 2nd April 2026

Special Considerations

• Students with exemplary performance in prestigious competitions or Olympiads (such as RMO) may be granted provisional admission.

• CBSE-recognized sports achievers may also receive relaxation in cut-off marks.
