The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) has officially opened the admission process for its BTech and Integrated MTech programmes for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates can now apply for undergraduate and dual-degree programmes offered in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS).

According to the institute, admissions to all BTech and Integrated MTech programmes will be conducted through a common application process. Students are not required to submit separate applications for different programmes. Candidates can indicate their programme preferences while filling out the application form.

IIIT Bangalore is offering admission to the following programmes for 2026 admissions:

• B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
• B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
• B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS)
• Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
• Integrated M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Admissions will primarily be based on candidates’ best All India Rank obtained in either JEE Main 2026 or JEE Advanced 2026. In addition, students selected for the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) or International Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp (IOITC) during 2025 or 2026 will also be considered under a special admission category.

The institute has announced that the last date to submit online applications and pay the application fee is June 8, 2026. The complete application submission portal became active after the declaration of JEE Main final results.

IIIT Bangalore stated that both the BTech and Integrated MTech programmes are fully residential courses, and students will be required to stay in institute hostels. The institute has also released the updated tuition fee structure for the 2026–27 batch. The total tuition fee for the four-year BTech programme is approximately Rs 23.82 lakh, while the five-year Integrated MTech programme fee is around Rs 31.20 lakh, excluding hostel, food, insurance, and other charges.

The institute has also shared previous-year closing ranks for reference. For 2025 admissions, the closing rank for BTech CSE was 6942, while BTech AI&DS closed at 8432 and BTech ECE at 8844. The Integrated MTech CSE and ECE programmes closed at ranks 7357 and 9101 respectively.
