Earlier scheduled to close on 10 November 2025, the registration portal has now been reopened for another week—from 29 November 2025 (Saturday) to 5 December 2025 (Friday)—through the school’s official website www.dpsranchi.com.

According to the school administration, this extension was granted due to excessive requests from parents for another chance to register their wards for the upcoming session. DPS Ranchi reiterated that it values every child’s potential and seeks to provide equal opportunities to all aspiring students.

Important Admission Guidelines

• Online registration does not guarantee admission. Selection will be based on performance in the Aptitude Test conducted by the school.

• The submitted application form must be printed and preserved until the admission process concludes.

Documents Required During Registration

1. Birth Certificate issued by a competent authority with the child’s name mentioned.

2. Aadhaar Card of the child and both parents.

3. Class VIII Half-Yearly Report Card.

4. Proof of Residence (Voter ID, Aadhaar, Electricity Bill, Passport, etc.)

5. Passport-size photograph of the candidate and parents (max size 100 KB, JPG/PNG).

6. For SAIL/ MECON employees: Original certificates issued by Personnel Departments (RDCIS, SAIL, MECON) at Ranchi Unit.

Important Notes

• No correction will be allowed once the application is submitted.

• Any incorrect information may lead to cancellation of admission.

• Permanent Education Number of the child will be mandatory during final admission.

• Incomplete forms will be rejected outright.
