The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into fraudulent admissions across medical colleges.

How the Gang Operated

According to officials, the gang targeted MBBS aspirants seeking admission through reserved categories. They allegedly created fake Freedom Fighter certificates, which provide high reservation benefits in medical admissions under UP NEET UG seats.
The accused, along with his associates, is suspected of:

• Fabricating FF category certificates with falsified lineage details

• Charging lakhs of rupees from each candidate

• Coordinating with document forgers to make the certificates appear authentic

• Guiding candidates through counselling rounds to exploit reservation quotas
