The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM Ranchi) has achieved 100% placements for the 2025-26 academic session, recording one of its strongest placement seasons so far. The institute announced that the highest package offered this year touched an impressive ₹1.2 crore per annum.

According to the placement report, the record-breaking offer was secured by a student from the Executive MBA (EMBA) 2024-26 batch for a leadership role. For the flagship MBA programme, the highest domestic salary package stood at ₹52.50 lakh per annum.

A total of 421 students participated in the placement process, including 50 students from the EMBA programme. Around 96 recruiters took part in the recruitment season, while 53 new recruiters were added during the academic year.

The top 25% students in the flagship MBA programme secured an average package of ₹24.83 lakh annually, while the overall average salary stood at ₹19.24 lakh per annum. The institute also reported growth in pre-placement offers (PPOs) and internship stipends compared to previous years.

In the MBA-HRM programme, the highest package reached ₹22.75 lakh per annum, while the top 25% students recorded an average salary of ₹20.95 lakh. Meanwhile, the MBA in Business Analytics (MBA-BA) programme saw the highest package rise to ₹32.13 lakh, with strong recruiter participation from analytics, consulting, banking and fintech sectors.

The placement season witnessed participation from leading companies across consulting, finance, banking, analytics, IT, automotive and fintech sectors. Major recruiters included Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, Wells Fargo, Maruti Suzuki, SAP Labs, Tata Capital and Cognizant.

Among the participating students, 72.83% were freshers, while female students constituted nearly 42.93% of the batch. The institute stated that the strong placement performance reflects growing industry confidence in IIM Ranchi graduates and the institute’s expanding corporate network.
