COMEDK UGET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to March 20; CBT Exam on May 9

The registration deadline for COMEDK UGET 2026 has been extended by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). Engineering aspirants can now complete the online application process until March 20, 2026 (12 PM) for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes.
Earlier, the last date to apply for the entrance exam was March 16, but the authorities decided to extend the deadline to give students additional time to submit their applications.
COMEDK UGET 2026 Exam Date
According to the official schedule, the COMEDK UGET 2026 examination will be conducted on May 9, 2026 in computer-based test (CBT) mode at multiple test centres across India. The exam will be held in three shifts on the same day to accommodate a large number of candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the exam must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects. Students are generally required to secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination, while candidates from reserved categories in Karnataka require 40% marks.
COMEDK UGET 2026 Exam Pattern
The entrance test will be conducted in English and will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions from three subjects:
Physics – 60 questions
Chemistry – 60 questions
Mathematics – 60 questions
Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. The total duration of the exam will be three hours.
