The registration deadline for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026 has been extended by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Candidates seeking admission to BTech and MTech programmes can now submit their application forms until March 23, 2026 through the official admission portal.

Earlier, the last date to apply for the entrance examination was March 15, but the university decided to extend the deadline to give more students additional time to complete their application process.

MET 2026 Exam Dates

As per the official schedule, the Phase-1 MET 2026 examination will be conducted on April 13 and April 14, 2026 in computer-based mode at designated test centres across the country.

The entrance test will be conducted in two phases, allowing candidates a chance to improve their scores. The Phase-2 examination is scheduled for May 23 and May 24, 2026. If a candidate appears in both phases, the best score will be considered for admission.

Slot Booking and Admit Card

Candidates who complete their registration will need to book their exam slots online between March 31 and April 2 for Phase-1. Slot booking is mandatory and works on a first-come, first-served basis, enabling students to choose their preferred exam date and time.

The MET 2026 admit card for Phase-1 is expected to be released around April 10, and candidates must carry it along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre.

Courses Offered Through MET

The entrance exam is conducted for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes at MAHE campuses, including:

• BTech programmes at Manipal Institute of Technology and other MAHE campuses

• MTech programmes in various engineering specialisations

The MET exam typically evaluates candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
