NTA to Close NEET UG 2026 Application Correction Facility Today; Exam on May 3

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the NEET UG 2026 application correction window today, giving candidates the final opportunity to edit errors in their application forms. Applicants who registered for the NEET 2026 examination are advised to review and correct their details before the facility is deactivated.

    The correction facility allows candidates to modify specific information in their application forms submitted earlier on the official portal.

    NEET UG 2026 exam date

    As per the official schedule, NEET UG 2026 will be conducted on May 3, 2026 in pen-and-paper mode across examination centres in India and abroad. The entrance test is the single largest medical entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical courses in government and private institutions.

    Admit card release

    The NEET UG 2026 admit card is expected to be released by NTA a few weeks before the examination. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth from the official website.

    The admit card will contain important details such as:

    • Candidate’s name and roll number

    • Exam centre details

    • Exam date and timing

    • Reporting time and important instructions

    Students must carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre.

    NEET 2026 exam pattern

    The NEET UG 2026 question paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions from three subjects:

    • Physics – 45 questions

    • Chemistry – 45 questions

    • Biology – 90 questions (Botany and Zoology)

    Each correct answer will carry 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The total duration of the examination will be 3 hours (180 minutes).
