The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the NEET UG 2026 application correction window, providing candidates with a final opportunity to edit mistakes in their submitted application forms. Registered applicants can make corrections by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026, the country’s largest medical entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other medical courses, is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026 in pen-and-paper (offline) mode across exam centres in India and abroad.
One-Time Opportunity for Candidates
According to NTA, the correction facility is a one-time opportunity for candidates who have already submitted their application forms but need to rectify errors. Once the correction window closes, no further modifications will be allowed, making it important for candidates to carefully verify and update their details.
Incorrect information in the application form may lead to issues during admit card verification, examination attendance, counselling, or admission, so students are advised to review all details thoroughly.
Details That Can Be Edited
During the correction window, candidates can modify several fields in the application form, including:
Parents’ name, qualification and occupation
Category or sub-category details
Educational information of Class 10 and Class 12
Exam city preference
Medium or language of the examination
Identity details and number of attempts
Uploaded documents such as photograph and signature
However, some key details such as candidate’s name, date of birth, registered mobile number and email ID are generally not allowed to be changed.
