JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Final Answer Key Released for BArch, BPlanning; NTA Drops 3 Questions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for JEE Main 2026 Paper 2, conducted for BArch (Bachelor of Architecture) and BPlanning (Bachelor of Planning) admissions under Session 1. Along with the final answer key, NTA has announced that three questions have been dropped after reviewing the challenges raised by candidates.
Three Questions Dropped After Objections
During the provisional answer key challenge window, several objections were submitted by candidates regarding discrepancies in a few questions. After evaluation by subject experts, NTA decided to drop three questions from the final evaluation:
Dropped questions will not be evaluated
Full marks will be awarded to all candidates who attempted the dropped questions
Candidates who did not attempt these questions will also not be penalised
This decision is expected to positively impact the overall scores of many aspirants.
Final Answer Key is Binding
NTA has clarified that the final answer key is binding, and no further challenges or objections will be entertained. The JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 results will be prepared strictly based on this final answer key.
