NTA Opens CUET UG 2026 Application Correction Facility; Check Editable and Non-Editable Fields

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction facility for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026, allowing registered candidates to make necessary changes to their submitted application forms. The correction window has been provided after the completion of the registration and fee payment process.
Candidates who have successfully submitted their CUET UG 2026 application can access the correction facility by logging in with their application number and password on the official CUET portal.

Correction window opening date: February 9, 2026
Last date to make corrections: February 11, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
NTA has clarified that this is a one-time opportunity, and no requests for correction will be entertained after the deadline.
Editable Fields in CUET UG 2026 Application Form
During the correction period, candidates are allowed to edit limited fields only. The editable details generally include:
Academic details (Class 10 and Class 12 information)
Subject choices and programme selection
Examination city preferences
Category, sub-category, and reservation details
Gender and PwD status (where applicable)
In case of category change, candidates may be required to pay the difference in application fee, if applicable.
Non-Editable Fields
Certain critical fields cannot be changed under any circumstances. These usually include:
Candidate’s name
Father’s and mother’s name
Date of birth
Registered mobile number and email ID
Photograph, signature, and identity document details
Candidates are advised to review all entries carefully before submitting the corrected application, as incorrect information may lead to issues during admission or counselling.
CUET UG 2026 Examination Schedule
As per the official announcement, CUET UG 2026 will be conducted from May 11 onwards in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The examination is expected to be held in multiple shifts across various exam centres in India and abroad.
