NTA JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Released; Exams to Be Held from January 21 to 29

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card for candidates appearing in the January examination. Registered students can now download their hall tickets from the official JEE Main portal using their application number and password or date of birth.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination centre and contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, centre address, photograph, signature, and exam-day instructions.
Exam Schedule for JEE Main 2026 Session 1
The Session 1 examination will be conducted from January 21 to January 29, 2026 across multiple centres in India and abroad.
Paper-wise schedule:
Paper 1 (BE/BTech):
January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2026
Conducted in two shifts:Morning shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlanning):
January 29, 2026 (generally in the morning shift)
Candidates are advised to check their individual exam date and shift carefully on the admit card, as it may vary.
How to Download JEE Main 2026 Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit card by following these steps:
Visit the official JEE Main website.
Click on “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card.”
Enter application number and password/date of birth.
Submit the details.
Download and print the admit card.
Students are advised to keep at least two printed copies for safety.

Candidate’s full name
Roll number and application number
Exam date and shift
Reporting time and gate closing time
Exam centre name and address
Photograph and signature

Documents Required on Exam Day
Candidates must carry:
Printed copy of JEE Main 2026 admit card
One valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence)
Without these documents, entry to the exam centre will not be permitted.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Reach the exam centre well before the reporting time.
Do not carry prohibited items such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, or any electronic gadgets.
Follow all instructions mentioned on the admit card strictly.

What After JEE Main Session 1?
The results of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 are expected to be declared in February 2026. Qualified candidates will be eligible for:
Admission to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions.
Appearing in JEE Advanced 2026 for admission to IITs.
