COMEDK UGET 2026 Exam to Be Held on May 9; Notification to Be Released Soon

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has officially announced the exam date for the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026. The national-level engineering entrance examination will be conducted on May 9, 2026 (Saturday) for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes.
COMEDK UGET is conducted for admission into BE/BTech courses offered by unaided private engineering colleges across Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 or equivalent examination
Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects
One of the following subjects is required as the third subject: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Biotechnology

There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam

Result and Counselling
COMEDK will release a provisional answer key after the exam, followed by the final answer key. The results are expected to be declared in June 2026.
Qualified candidates will be required to participate in centralised counselling, where seat allotment will be done based on merit rank, preferences, and seat availability across participating colleges.
