CUET UG 2026: NTA Releases Key Advisory for Aspirants Ahead of May Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a detailed public notice for aspirants of the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026, confirming that the examination will be conducted in May 2026 in 13 languages, both in India and abroad.
According to the advisory, CUET UG 2026 will be held for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by Central Universities (CUs) and other participating universities. The online application form will be made available on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.
NTA has informed candidates that the list of participating universities is dynamic and may change. Aspirants are advised to regularly visit the NTA website for the latest updates related to universities, examination schedules, and instructions.
To support candidates, the CUET UG 2026 syllabus has already been released and is available on the official portal. Students are encouraged to begin preparation based on the prescribed syllabus and exam pattern.
The advisory also highlights the importance of accurate Aadhaar-based details. NTA will fetch candidates’ name, date of birth, gender, photograph, and address from UIDAI through Aadhaar authentication (or Aadhaar update guidelines). However, if details such as father’s, mother’s, or guardian’s name are not available in Aadhaar records, candidates will need to enter them manually in the application form.
In cases where there is a name mismatch between the Aadhaar card and Class 10 certificate/marksheet, candidates will be provided an option to resolve the issue during the online application process.
