Delhi Public School (DPS) Ranchi has once again demonstrated its academic brilliance as its quiz team delivered an exceptional performance at the State Level Heritage Quiz 2025, organised by the Jharkhand State Chapter of INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage).
Displaying quick thinking, strong conceptual understanding, and an impressive command over India’s cultural and historical heritage, Gaurav Kumar Mahto and Arnav Singh, both students of Class IX, emerged as State Champions in the category for Classes VII to X.
The team faced tough competition from four top-performing schools that had qualified for the state round. Maintaining composure under pressure, the duo displayed outstanding teamwork and precision, outperforming their competitors with consistent accuracy and confidence.
Their state-level triumph comes soon after their brilliant victory at the City Level Heritage Quiz, reinforcing DPS Ranchi’s reputation for excellence in academic competitions and quizzing.
With this win, the team has successfully qualified for the National Level Heritage Quiz, set to be held in New Delhi, where they will proudly represent Jharkhand.
Expressing her delight at the achievement, Dr. Jaya Chauhan, Principal, DPS Ranchi, said:
“This victory reflects the dedication and intellectual curiosity of our students, as well as the guidance provided by our committed teachers. Heritage quizzes not only test knowledge but also instill a deeper understanding of our rich culture and history. We wish the team the very best for the National Level competition.”
