The Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali campus is spread over of land in Shyamali area of Ranchi, Jharkhand.

1. Computer Lab

Computer Education: To keep pace with the advance technology, a separate room for computer has been provided. Multimedia based computer training appropriate with the age of the student is imparted in order to develop his/her interest in this fabulous technology. The school insists on making use of computers as application tool. Children learn to make use of computers to do their artwork, homework, making cartoon, film, banners etc. in future.

Computer Lab Department has one well-maintained laboratory consisting of computers with coloured monitors, scanner, projector and colour printers of latest make and language as per CBSE syllabus. The school has two fully equipped computer laboratory set up, for the Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary sections. All students from class III to XII are trained hands on computer.

24 x 7 hour Broadband Internet facility is available. It has also been provided in the computer lab. Students take full advantage of computer labs in enhancing their knowledge and preparing various projects in academics and general education.

2. Science Laboratory (Phy., Chem., Bio. & Bio.-Tech.)

The adequately equipped science laboratory inculcates the spirit of experimentation, innovation research and discovery in the minds of the students. It is equipped with museum specimens, charts, slides, microscopes, human skeleton and other facilities for proper experimentation. The practical sessions conducted in the labs, apart from making learning fun, enhance the level of understanding of the various scientific theoretical concepts. It serves as a platform for the future scientists.

Library :Our library well – stocked with about 20,000 books include literature, children’s books, Encyclopaedias, Reference books and Text books. CDs and DVDs are also available for students. Newspapers, periodicals and magazines are procured regularly in English, Hindi and many more languages.

Reference Library :

This library provides reference materials for the students of Senior Secondary aspiring for admission into professional courses like IIT, JEE, AIEEE, AIPMT, and AIIMS.

Newspaper: Leading Hindi and English Newspaper, Journals, Magazine e.t.c. are displayed at the entrance of the reading hall. The current months papers are readily available in the section for immediate reference.
