Ranchi, October 11, 2025: Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi has officially announced the commencement of online registration for admission to Class Nursery for the academic session 2026–27.

According to the notification, online registration will start on October 16, 2025 (Thursday) and continue till November 5, 2025 (Wednesday, 11:59 PM). Parents can complete the registration process through the school’s official website — www.dpsranchi.com.

Eligibility Criteria

As per NEP 2020 guidelines, the child’s age as of April 1, 2026 must be between 4 and 5 years (born between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022, both dates inclusive).

Key Details

• Application forms will be available only online; no offline forms will be accepted.

• A non-refundable registration fee of ₹3000 is to be paid online during registration.

• No payment will be accepted at the school counter.

• Draw of Lots for the selection of wards will be conducted on November 22, 2025.

• 25% of total seats are reserved for Nursery (Entry Level Class) under the RTE Act.

• Online registration does not guarantee admission; selection will be based purely on the lottery process.

Documents Required for Registration

1. Birth Certificate issued by a government authority.

2. Aadhaar Card of the child and both parents.

3. Proof of Residence (any one: Voter ID, Aadhaar, BSNL bill, electricity bill, passport, gas connection, or ration card).

4. Passport-size photograph of the child (white shirt, plain background) and photographs of both parents.

5. For wards of SAIL/MECON employees, an original certificate issued by the Personnel Department of RDCIS, SAIL, or MECON must be submitted.

Important Notes

• No corrections will be entertained after submission.

• Aadhaar Card of the child is mandatory at the time of final admission.

• Incomplete forms will be rejected outright.
