Bokaro, October 6, 2025: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro Steel City, has officially announced the commencement of its online registration for admission to Class Pre-Nursery for the academic session 2026–2027. The school continues its legacy of promoting holistic education and emphasizes a fair and transparent admission process.
Registration Schedule and Process
The online registration link will be active from October 6, 2025, to November 8, 2025, exclusively on the school’s official website: www.dpsbokaro.com. No offline registration will be entertained.
Parents are required to submit the hard copy of the registration form along with necessary documents to the school between November 9 and November 15, 2025.
The time slot for submission of the registration form will be notified on the school website after the closure of online registration.
Eligibility Criteria
Class: Pre-Nursery
Age: Children aged 3 to 4 years as on April 1, 2026
Date of Birth Range: April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023
Reservation of Seats
25% of seats are reserved for RTE (Right to Education) candidates.
Of the remaining 75%, 70% will be for wards of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) employees, 25% for Non-BSL candidates, and 5% for wards of officials of the District Administration.
Selection Criteria
The selection will be based on points accrued by the child according to the parameters mentioned in Annexure I:
Qualification of parents (Father or Mother)
Sibling (own brother/sister studying in DPS Bokaro)
Alumni (Parents who are DPS Bokaro alumni)
Date of Birth Certificate (child’s age within range)
Registration of Birth of the child
Parents stationed in Bokaro
Children securing marks above the cut-off will be offered direct admission. If applications exceed available seats, a draw of lots will determine final selection.
Guidelines for Online Registration
Parents are advised to use desktop or laptop computers for a smooth registration experience. Mobile phones or tablets should be avoided.
Key points include:
Aadhaar Number of both child and parents is mandatory.
Parents must have a valid email ID for registration and communication.
Self-attested photocopies of the following documents must be attached:
Aadhaar Card (child and parents)
Birth Registration Certificate (issued within one year of birth by Municipal Corporation)
Medical fitness certificate of the child
Parents’ qualification certificates
BSL employee certificate (if applicable)
Proof of sibling (if any studying in DPS Bokaro)
Address proof
Certificate of Alumni (if applicable)
Online Payment Acknowledgement Slip
Parents must bring original documents for verification at the time of submission.
Important Notes
Only residents of Bokaro with both parents living locally are eligible to apply.
No modification or concession will be granted once the form is submitted.
Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
All admission updates will be communicated only through the school website.
