Admission
MODE OF ADMISSION
- Self-Supporting Seats are filled through JoSAA / CSAB Counselling, and Government Quota seats are filled through Puducherry CENTAC counselling.
- For the JoSAA/CSAB seats, admissions are based on the rank obtained in JEE (Main) exam. Additionally, candidates must either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in their respective Class XII board examination. Refer to the JEE Main Performance Criteria in Class XII for more details.
- For the CENTAC seats, candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the Class XII examination. Admissions are based on the aggregate marks secured in Mathematics, Physics, and any one optional subject in the Class XII examination through Puducherry CENTAC counselling. These seats are reserved for Puducherry residents.
