🧾 Step-by-Step Process to Fill JEE Main 2026 Application Form

1. Visit the official website
   Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the link that says “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration”.

2. Register on the NTA portal

   • Click on “New Candidate Registration” and read the instructions carefully.

   • Fill in basic details such as name, date of birth, gender, nationality, email ID, and mobile number.

   • Create a password and security pin.

   • Upon submission, a unique Application Number will be generated — save it for future reference.

3. Complete the application form
   Log in using your application number and password, then fill in:

   • Personal details

   • Academic qualifications

   • Exam centre preferences (up to four choices)

   • Paper selection (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Planning, or combination)

4. Upload documents
   Upload scanned copies of:

   • Passport-size photograph (recent, with light background)

   • Signature (in running handwriting)

   • Category or PwD certificate (if applicable)
     Ensure that images meet the size and format requirements mentioned in the form.

5. Pay the application fee
   Pay the fee using Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, or UPI. The fee varies depending on gender, category, and exam paper(s) chosen.

6. Download the confirmation page
   Once payment is successful, download and print the confirmation page for your records. This confirms your successful submission of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 form.
