The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has opened the registration process for Round 2 of NEET UG 2025 counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions in the state. Alongside, the university has also announced the tentative schedule for Round 3, giving clarity to aspirants about the upcoming admission phases.

Round 2 Counselling Details

• Registration & Fee Payment: Open now on AMRU’s official portal.

• Choice-Filling & Locking: Candidates can select their preferred medical and dental colleges after successful registration.

• Seat Allotment Result: To be declared once choice-filling concludes.

• Reporting & Document Verification: Candidates allotted seats must report to respective colleges within the given deadline with required documents.

Who Can Apply in Round 2?

• Students who did not get a seat in Round 1.

• Candidates who wish to upgrade from their Round 1 allotment.

• Fresh applicants who missed Round 1 registration.

• Candidates who reported but did not lock choices earlier.

Round 3 Schedule Out

AMRU has also released the schedule for Round 3 counselling:

• Round 3 Registration: Expected to begin after completion of Round 2 reporting.

• Choice-Filling & Locking: To be held immediately after registration closes.

• Allotment Result: Likely to be announced before the Mop-Up Round.

The Round 3 will include vacant seats from previous rounds and any additional seats approved by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

• NEET UG 2025 Admit Card & Scorecard

• Class 10 & 12 certificates and mark sheets

• Domicile certificate of Himachal Pradesh (if applicable)

• Category/PwD/EWS certificate (if applicable)

• Seat allotment letter and fee receipt

What’s Next?

After Round 3, if seats still remain vacant, a Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted to ensure that no seat goes unfilled in government and private medical colleges across Himachal Pradesh.

Authorities have advised students to complete registration within deadlines and to carefully prioritize colleges during choice-filling, as locked choices cannot be changed later.
